Custom Web Application Development

Software built around the way you actually work.

Sometimes a website isn't enough. Maybe you have a process that happens in spreadsheets, an internal tool that's becoming difficult to use, or an idea that doesn't fit into an off-the-shelf product. That's where I come in.

LeadBase, a custom lead-inbox and AI-agent web app I built: the agent settings screen with the AI model, business profile and version history

What this looks like

I design and build web applications from the ground up, not templated dashboards, not a stack of plugins bolted together, but software shaped around your actual workflow.

That means starting with how your team works today, then building the interface, logic, and data model to match, so the tool fits the job instead of the other way around.

What I can help with

What I can help with

01

Customer & Admin Dashboards

One screen for the numbers and actions your team or your customers need, instead of five tabs and an export.

02

Internal Web Applications

Tools that replace spreadsheet workflows, with proper data, permissions and history.

03

Client Portals

A place where clients sign in to see their orders, documents or bookings and act on them themselves.

04

Custom Platforms

Products that don't fit an off-the-shelf tool, such as booking systems or SaaS.

05

Data-driven Applications

Applications fed by live data from other systems, like leaderboards synced from a game server.

I don't start by choosing a framework.
I start by understanding what you're trying to achieve.

LeadBase contacts: a lead's details, tags like “custom software” and “web app”, notes and conversation history — the CRM side of the same app

How I approach it

I don't start by choosing a framework.

First, I want to understand what you're trying to achieve, who will use the application, and what currently makes the process difficult.

Then I build only what is needed, with room to grow when the business grows.

Questions

Asked before every project like this.

Should I build a custom web application or use off-the-shelf software?

If an existing tool does the job, use it, and I'll tell you so. Custom software makes sense when your process doesn't fit the tools on the market, when you pay for several tools to do one job, or when the workaround has become the work.

Can you take over or extend an existing application?

Yes. I can improve, extend, integrate or rebuild existing systems when they no longer meet your needs. You don't always need to start from scratch.

What technology do you use?

Whatever fits the job and can be maintained after delivery. Common choices are TypeScript, React, Astro, Node.js and PostgreSQL, hosted on platforms such as Vercel or on infrastructure you already use.

How much does a custom web application cost?

It depends on the problem and the scope. We agree on what's worth building and what it costs before any work starts, rather than fitting every project into a fixed package.

Have a problem worth solving?

You don't need the solution figured out. Tell me what's taking too much time, what isn't working, or what you'd like to improve, and we'll find the right approach from there.
